Clydebank College

With the abundance of international students we have Clydebank College realises the need to offers courses in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at all levels, from beginners to advanced. The courses are popular in the college and currently run over an academic year, from late August to mid-June. Students can join the programme at any time so they are free to enrol at their leisure.

The classes cover units such as effective communication skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing; vocabulary for everyday situations; transactional language and language awareness. Students who successfully complete their modules are awarded Scottish Qualifications Authority ESOL Qualifications.

Depending on what level a student reaches, a course on Clydebank College's English Language Programme can open up lots of possibilities for them such as employment in the UK, entry to other programmes of study at Clydebank College or other colleges - and even entry to university in the UK.
