Langside College

Langside is the largest further education provider of English for Speakers of Other Languages in the West of Scotland, with over 800 students enrolling a year, and experienced, highly qualified staff, who have a particular interest in training new teachers of English to work nationally and internationally.

2-36 week courses run year round, at all levels from pre-basic to advanced, preparing you for recognised qualifications, like IELTS, Cambridge and Trinity Spoken English. Support facilities include a multi-media lab with the latest language software to help you develop key skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, at your own pace.

The campus has a swimming pool and gym, and a self-catering hall of residence, with secure, affordable en-suite accommodation. Alternatively, students can choose Homestay or private accommodation.

Because Langside is a further education college, the student body is diverse, aged from 16 to 60+, studying subjects from floristry to business. International students have the opportunity to progress from studying language to academic courses and university, and may also find work opportunities through the national Fresh Talent scheme.
